Over the duration of five workshops, the senior classroom worked alongside Alex from Gas Networks Ireland in partnership with Junior Achievements Ireland to look at renewable energy and how we can all play our part in relation to biodiversity.
The pupils looked at a wide range of topics in relation to sustainable development goals, types of energy, etc. and put their new-found knowledge to work to create their own wind turbines and periscopes.
