The Senior members of the Green School Committee made their way down to the Midlands Park hotel in Portlaoise to accept our Regional Winners trophy. The Committee worked really hard to achieve this and they should be so proud of themselves. Of course, the work for our Green School Flags is without a doubt a whole school/community effort. Well done all! The children were rewarded with a trip to the Dáil afterwards where the Taoiseach mentioned Mullaghbuoy NS and the Green School Committee for their hard work. This is our 7th Green Flag and we look forward to starting work in September for our 8th.
