Our class has been looking at the focus of games for PE. Over the last few weeks, the children have had the opportunity to learn rugby from coach Patrica. During these sessions, the children were shown the basic rules of rugby and practised these new skills weekly through mini games and exercises.
Today their skills were put to the test as Carlingford Knights RFC hosted a rugby blitz, bringing together many schools from the peninsula. The children all played very well and thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
